– Rev. H.F. Buckner baptized three sons at the Tuskegee church last sabbath.
– A prairie fire destroyed over 2,000 acres on the farm of Supt. McCombs last week. He saved about 4,000 acres with the aid of his wife and two other men fighting the fire.
– The case of Aulley Davis for the murder of Louis Marshall has been set for May 1st. Davis will be prosecuted by the District Attorney and defended by M. B. Childers.
– A festive gathering took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Scott, across the North Fork Friday evening last. There was a large number present and good feelings reigned supreme.
