Transportation meeting at the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce brought together different organizations to discuss local mobility challenges and explore opportunities to enhance transportation services in the region.
Joey Bilyeu, Northeastern Region Mobility Management Navigator, facilitated the discussion alongside Olivia Hook from ODOT and three additional Oklahoma Mobility Managers, Todd O’Neal, Kristie Winchester and Lana O’Kelly.
The Director, Charla Sloan, of KI’BOIS Transit (KATS) was in attendance to provide valuable insights and answer questions regarding the services currently available in the area.
Topics included improving access for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and rural communities, as well as identifying service gaps, potential funding sources, and strategies to increase public awareness.
A special thank you to the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce for graciously hosting the meeting. The collaboration and engagement demonstrated today set the stage for continued progress toward more accessible and inclusive transportation options across the region.
