Anyone notice that when wildfires swept through L.A. two months ago the holier-than-thous wasted no time proclaiming it was God’s wrath upon sinful people, but when those same fires struck red states like South Carolina and Georgia and, recently, Oklahoma and Texas, it was just a disaster?

There’s no doubt that if Jesus returned to Earth today and began preaching the gospel of Matthew, Musk and Trump would label him a terrorist and the MAGA mob would demand his execution.

May God bless everyone everywhere whose lives have been ripped to pieces by wildfires. No matter how they voted.
