Eufaula Memorial Library has something for everyone!
If you don’t have a library card, it’s free to register for one. You can register in person or online to start using library services. There is no need to have a card to attend programs, they are open to anyone!
Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. teens can make origami. This program is for ages 12-18 and all the materials are provided.
We have a variety of exercise classes to help keep you active and healthy.
• Every Monday at 11 a.m. we have Tai Chi taught by Dawn Edwards from the Mc-Intosh County Health Department.
• Every Tuesday at 9 a.m. we have Beginners Yoga taught by Tulsa. Mats, blocks, and bands are provided.
• Every Monday at 12 p.m. and Thursday at 9 a.m. we have chair exercise taught by Dawn Edwards from the Mc-Intosh County Health Department.
• Every Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. we have SAIL. SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principles in mind. Each class includes a warmup, stretching, cardio, balance, strengthening exercises, and a cooldown period.
Monday, Febr. 24 at 5:30 p.m., we will have the adult craft. This month you can make a mosaic candle holder for a small fee of $4 for the cost of supplies. You must register for this program at eols.org/ events. Space is limited, so get registered today!
The Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) are looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. The next meeting is Friday, Feb. 21 at 1:00 pm.
