Deadline nears for FOI award nominations

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2024-25 Oklahoma Freedom of Information Award is Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.

Each year, FOI Oklahoma celebrates the people and organizations who exemplify the values of, and fight tirelessly for, transparency, freedom of information, and the First Amendment.

FOI also identifies those who go out of their way to keep things in the dark.

Mail nominations to FOI 325 NE 4th St. #4, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104 or e-mail director@ foioklahoma.org.

Winners will be announced during Sunshine Week in March and honor the awardees at the First Amendment Congress in October.
