Checotah wrestles way to success at Maverick Conference

The Checotah Wrestling program continues to be successful under head coach Bret Oleson. Three-time state champ Checotah senior Colt Collett won his sixth consecutive Maverick Tournament on Saturday.

Annabelle Mowdy placed second in the 125-pound division.

In the Junior High tournament Checotah produced three champions. Gabe Scarborough was first in the heavyweight division, Annabelle Mowdy first place in the 126-pound division and Tylee Johnson placed first in the 138-pound division.
