What is the meaning of life?
By Know that you are loved! Pastor J. Ingram, FBC Eufaula

Money, Power, Success, Popularity, 42? Are these the answers? There is no way I can answer this in these few lines, but I will give my best to help you see what the Bible tells us about the meaning and purpose of our lives.

Your life has purpose. You matter. You are valued in the eyes of your Creator.

“You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you.” Isaiah 43:4 Your life has meaning. You are valued. Your life is worth more than you imagine. If He clothes the flowers in the field, how much more meaningful are you?

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith? Matthew 6:28-30.

Your life has a plan. God has made a way for you. It is intentional and tailor made for each of us. You are not one of billions – you are one of a kind and God sees you and loves you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 The meaning of life is to seek out the God that gives you purpose, to discover your meaning and to seek our His plan for your life.

God desires to reveal this to anyone who will seek Him with their whole heart. A great way to do that is to be part of a local Church!

We would love to meet you at FBC Eufaula! We are located at 400 West Foley in Eufaula. FBC Wednesday nights start each Wednesday at 6 p.m. with great ministries for Adults, Students and Children.

On Sundays our Small Group Bible studies begin at 8:45 a.m. and you are invited to worship with us at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday.

You can join us in person or online at www.eufaulafbc. org
