Lady Wildcats win shootout over Stilwell

The Checotah Lady Wildcats came out on top of a shootout against the Stilwell Lady Indians 74-64 on Tuesday night in Checotah. Checotah started the game fast as Shyanne Madewell and Ruby Folkner drove hard to the goal, combining for 12 of Checotah’s 18 points scored in the first period. Stilwell had difficulties against Checotah’s high-pressure defense as Hailey Prince and Sidney Hamilton grabbed several rebounds that turned into points on the other end of the court. Checotah led 18-11 to close out the first period.
