There is a nip in the air as winter is approaching, but it is warm in the library! Stop in and stay awhile.
We have a full calendar of events and open our regular hours; Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Saturday Dec. 14 from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. come in and take a photo using your device. We will have a festive backdrop and props for you to use. You will receive one free print and any additional prints can be purchased. Prints can be picked up the following Monday.
On Thursday, Dec. 19 our book club for adults will meet at 2 p.m. to discuss Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate. Come enjoy good conversation, a light snack, and choose the next book.
Friday, Dec. 20 at 3:30 p.m. teens can come create Hot Glue Art. This program is for ages 12 to 18 and all the materials will be provided.
Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 17 for Eufaula Memorial Library’s Grand Reopening. The Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce will be there to cut the ribbon at 10 a.m. followed by a tour of the newly renovated building and refreshments.
The Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) are looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. Their next luncheon meeting is Friday, Dec. 20 at 11:30 a.m. in the Follansbee Room at the library. There will be lunch for a $6 donation and a Christmas Music BINGO game.
