After being closed for several weeks for repairs and renovations, the Eufaula Memorial Library has reopened.
A couple of hundred fans came to the reopening on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
“We are excited at Eufaula Memorial Library to be back in our newly renovated building!” said Branch Manager Amanda Grantham.
The library is back to its regular hours, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
“We have all our regular programs as well. We look forward to seeing you!,” Grantham said.
Friday, Nov. 15 at 3:30 p.m., teens can learn geometric stitching.This program is for ages 1217 and all materials are provided. There is no need to register; just come and have fun!
Thursday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m., the book club for adults will meet to discuss Talking to Strangers by Fiona Barton. If you need a copy, they are available at the front desk.
“Saturday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m., we are hosting a downtown tour of Eufaula with the help of our local business owners. Come take a walk downtown and learn about the history of the buildings of our historic downtown,” she said.
