Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame unveils Jim Thorpe’s Presidential Medal of Freedom

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame hosted an intimate Thorpe Family and press gathering on Thursday, October 10th, to unveil the newest artifact housed inside the Jim Thorpe Museum, his posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom. Also included in the unveiling were esteemed dignitaries and supporters of the Hall of Fame, Senator Adam Pugh and Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt.
