The Checotah Lady Wildcats dominated the Henryetta Lady Knights 15-3 on Tuesday. Shaelynn Casey hit a solo home run to center field in the seventh inning, singled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning to lead the charge over Henryetta.
Checotah was hot at the plate as Hailey Prince hit a home run to tie the game in the top of the third inning.
The Lady Wildcats rallied in the fifth inning, scoring six runs on two hits to take a 8-3 lead. A Henryetta error drove in a pair of runs. Checotah continued its dominance in the seventh inning with a home run by Casey, Kami Hamm drove in a run, Layna Vandiver singled, scoring two runs and Casey hit a single, scoring a run.
Shaelynn Casey earned the win from the pitchers circle. She gave up five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one.
Hailey Prince was 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs, Casey 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs, Vandiver l-for-4 with 2 RBIs and Aurora Madewell 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Muldrow tops Checotah 6-2 on Thursday. Checotah out hit the Lady Bulldogs 7 to 4. Hailey Prince pitched first for Checotah. She allowed four hits and six runs over six innings, striking out five and walking three. Aurora Madewell and Prince led Checotah at the plate with driving in one run.
