Checotah Impact Players of the Week

The Checotah Impact Players of the Week are Shaelynn Casey and Jayden Ellen.

Casey hit a solo home run to center field in the seventh inning, singled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning to lead Checotah to a 15-3 win over Henryetta. Casey earned the win from the pitcher’s circle. She gave up five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

Jayden Ellen led the Wildcats to a 6842 win over Locust Grove. Ellen finished with 275 yards on 19 carries for five touchdowns in the Wildcats’ District 3A-3 victory over Locust Grove.
