Eufaula Alumni Association has selected Gary Moores, 1961 graduate, to be inducted into the EHS Hall of Fame. Moores was honored prior to the Ironheads football game against Sallisaw where he was presented his hall of fame plaque.
Through his many selfless acts of giving through donations, time and service, Mr. Moores has made a tremendous impact on Eufaula Schools and the entire Ironhead community. Moores, along with Roy Fisher, worked the football chain gang for decades. He was a little league baseball coach and helped pioneer the Eufaula boxing club.
Moores never asked for any recognition for his help and dodged publicity for the most part. He was instrumental in building the Eufaula Football Field house, the Paul Bell Stadium press box and so much more. He loves Eufaula and Ironhead athletics with passion.
Congratulations to Gary Moores, Eufaula’s newest Hall of Fame recipient.
