The Checotah Fast-Pitch Player of the Week is Hailey Prince. Prince allowed just one hit over 3.2 innings and struck out eight in the Lady Wildcats’ 10-0 win over Sallisaw on Friday. In Tuesday’s match-up, Prince hit a home run in the first inning, scoring three runs and doubled in the second inning, scoring a run as Checotah topped Okemah 13-5.

The Checotah Football Player of the Week is Cole Rolland. Freshman quarterback Cole Rolland finished going 5-for-6 for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 48-0 shutout victory over Okmulgee. Rolland hit his favorite target, senior receiver Elijah Thomas four times during the game.
