Donna Sue Nichols Anderson, a Certified Nursing Assistant, has worked at the Eufaula Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 42 years.
Jerry Whitfield, representing the Joseph Lacour College Foundation, honored her Friday for her dedication to her own family and her Eufaula Manor family with a plaque and a bouquet of flowers.
The plaque states that “She has brought joy and comfort to the residents. She also goes above and beyond to make her fellow coworkers’ jobs easier whenever possible.”
Donna started working for Eufaula Manor in 1981 under the late administrator Bonnie Brockman.
“She has made countless friendships along the way that she holds dear to her heart.
Donna has lived in Eufaula all of her life. It’s where she made a home and family.
She is a proud mother of four children, Sephanie, LaDon, Lapinion and Clarence.
“Although anyone who knows her will tell you her proudest moments are with her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.”
