Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that rammed the rear end of a second vehicle, injuring two people from Broken Bow.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the injury hit and run took place on Saturday, June 8, shortly before 11 p.m. on U.S. 69 about a half mile north of Eufaula.
The two vehicles were traveling north on the highway when the unknown vehicle struck at 2003 BMW driven by Shonda Villa, 54.
Villa was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee, where she was admitted in stable condition with a head injury.
James Southerland, 56, a passenger in Villa’s car, was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
The OHP report stated that both vehicles were northbound. The unknown vehicle struck the BMW causing the driver to lose control, depart the roadway to the right and to roll an unknown number of times.
The unknown driver left the scene before emergency services arrived.
