Based on widespread appeal, Carl Acuff Jr., will be back at the Plumb Theatre, June 1, at 7 p.m.
Carl will be bringing a special tribute to Merle Haggard. We know how much everyone loves the songs Merle has made popular over his career with nearly 40 number one country hits between the late 1960’s and the mid 1980’s. Oh yes, one of Oklahoma’s favorite’s, OKIE FROM MUSKOGEE!
Carl sings, plays several instruments and presents a Mega Musical Blockbuster Extravaganza, only rivaled in his Branson Shows and his tours around the states.
The $10 dollar donation at the door will put you in the drawings for T-Shirts and the HAT right off of Carl’s head! The drawings will be held at halftime, and he also has many other products for sale.
There will be a combination of new and old Country music, Gospel Music, rock and roll, Motown music and Comedy. Audience participation and support, and of course, a salute to all of the men and women in uniform, past and present.
With music to wake the soul and warm the heart. Remember it’s not a show without you.
