Spring is here, and the Eufaula Memorial Library has some interesting programs coming up.
The Eufaula Memorial Library has a crafting club that meets every other Saturday. The club is called Stitches and Strings and meets from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
People can bring their supplies and work on whatever project they wish. Some members work on crocheting, knitting, painting, and plastic canvas.
On Monday, April 15, come learn how to make a macrame keychain. This program begins at 5 p.m. and is for adults. All the materials will be provided and there is no need to register.
On Tuesday, April 16, the library will be closed for our staff to attend staff development. All staff members must obtain continuing education hours to keep their certification. All online materials and resources will be available for our patrons that day.
Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) is looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. Their next monthly program luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 19. Contact President Gail Rose at member.FEML@gmail. com to join.
