Ironheads find success at McAlester track meet

The Eufaula Ironheads track program had a huge day on Thursday at the McAlester track meet. The boys 4×100 and the 4×200 took third place. Ledger Folsom placed 2nd in the 100 m dash, Maddox Bridges placed 3rd in the 200m dash, Jason Hill was 3rd in the shot put and 4th in the discus and the team placed 4th overall.

“I’m so proud of our boys track team today. We had several boys place in the top 6 to earn points. They gave a strong effort while competing with some of the states best athletes. Were fairly young so the future looks bright for the program,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.
