It’s full steam ahead for area spring sports. With just five weeks remaining in the school year, the schedule for high school sports is plentiful. Men’s and women’s golf, track, softball and baseball in addition to spring football practice, so there are enough activities going on to keep one busy. Both Checotah and Eufaula softball teams are playing at a high level, area golf teams have been very competitive and as always, track is high octane fun. Fans should take time to make time to go, watch and support their local school athletics. Springtime is here and so are the sports.
