Between the egg hunt at Posey Park Saturday and the helicopter egg drop by Community Culture Church at the football field Sunday, hundreds of children throughout the county enjoyed the weekend’s Easter activities.
The Lake Eufaula State Park held its annual hunt on Saturday, March 30, (not Sunday, March 31) as publicized.
The Sonic joined in the fun with two Easter rabbits entertaining the crowds Sunday afternoon.
The event at Posey Park was sponsored by Providence Realty, Parker Brothers Roofing, Sam Wampler’s Freedom Ford, Guild Mortgage, Trustmark Title and Family Dollar/ Tree.
The sponsors provided lots of freebies during the event besides the egg hunt, including hot dogs, train rides, bounce houses and much more.
