Kerry Johnson, 34, of Dover, Delaware, entered a no contest plea last week to a charge of carrying a weapon.
Associate District Judge Brendon Bridges gave Johnson a 30-day deferred sentence and a $100 fine.
On Jan. 25 Johnson entered the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office and claimed someone was following him, was tracking him by cell phone and wanted to kill him.
At one point he told deputies he was afraid to leave the building.
Eventually he was taken into custody and investigators found a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifle loaded with 29 rounds of ammunition; a Smith & Wesson SD9 VE pistol loaded with 14 rounds of 9 mm ammunition; a spare magazine for the pistol with 12 rounds; a Kara CW9 pistol with seven rounds of ammo; and one plastic bag containing 21 rounds of ammo.
