Spring is almost here! The time will change soon and the weather will be warmer. We have lots of programs for all ages at Eufaula Memorial Library in March.
Want to learn how to crochet, or maybe you already know how to? We will have a teen crochet program on Friday, March 8 at 3:30 PM. Participants will learn how to make a crochet cat plushie. All supplies will be provided, and there is no registration for this event. Any teen aged 12 to 18 is welcome.
If you are ready to start a garden or plant in your flower beds come to our adult Recycled Seed Paper program on Tuesday, March 12. This event will begin at 4:30 PM and is free to anyone age 18 and up. All the materials will be provided to make a biodegradable seed card.
Children will have two opportunities to build a Leprechaun Trap! Participants will build a trap to catch Lenny, the library Leprechaun who has been causing some mischief in the library. On Thursday, March 14 at 4:30 pm and Friday, March 15 at 3:00 pm, children can come to either session. All materials will be provided for them to be as creative as they want in their designs on a trap to catch Lenny!
We will have a teen Fundamentals of Art class for beginners. This class will meet every Tuesday from 1:30 pm to 3 pm beginning March 12.
Participants must register for the class at https://eols.org/programs or stop in the library and have one of our friendly staff members assist them.
This class is for anyone aged 12 or older. Registration ends Monday, March 11 at 5 pm.
Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) is looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. Their next monthly program luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 15. Contact President Gail Rose at member.FEML@gmail.com to join.
