McIntosh County GOP is looking forward to resuming regular meetings after all the excitement of our precinct meetings and county convention. We are now on the road to the Republican District Convention and the Republican State Convention, which will all culminate with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July. This is an exciting time.
McIntosh County GOP has a new home, Federated Church of Checotah until we find our own property to call home. March 19t at 6:30 p.m. will be our next meeting and our featured speaker will be former Oklahoma State Representative Charles Key, who authored the book, “Stolen Government.” Mr. Key is well versed on the ways that our representatives are stymied from representing us, but more importantly his book details a very simple concept in which we can regain our authority. Please come hear him speak on this topic and he will be available for all your questions afterwards as well. Light refreshments will be served.
We will also have an interesting presentation by one of our staunch members, Mrs. Betty Morrison, on how the recent flopped border bill was intended to codify legal immigration for the foreseeable future. Since we may face these issues again in the near future, it is best we understand what they were trying to pull over on the American people. Mrs. Morrison was formerly employed by attorneys and has studied ALL 370 pages of this bill and was alarmed at what she discovered and wishes to share these points with the public.
Looking forward to seeing you on March 19, McIntosh County GOP is a great place to get, and stay, informed. In April we will return to the third Thursday night for our meetings. Also, be watching for information on Sheriff Mack of CSPOA.org coming to McIntosh county soon.
