Eufaula goes on record scoring spree

Eufaula High School’s basketballers set three school records here Tuesday night in sweeping a basketball doubleheader from Hartshorne 73-30 in girls play and 97-61 in boys play.

The 97 points is a school record for the boys and the 73 points a record for the girls.

Rusty Griffis tallied 38 points in a winning cause for the Ironheads, also a school record for most points by an individual.

Sonya Shropshire scored 40 points for the girls.
