New Imagination Library kick-off date

The free Dolly Parton Imagination Library kick-off party date, originally scheduled for Jan. 16, has been reset for Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Inclement weather forced the postponement of the party, which will be held at the libraries in Eufaula and Checotah on the same day The Eufaula event will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; the Checotah event will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

To sign up your child, visit the libraries in Checotah and Eufaula or go to www.imaginationlibrary. com. The free The Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.

Each month Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails an ageappropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family.
