Scott Harding was named Executive Director of Eastern Oklahoma Development District effective Jan. 1.
Harding began his career at EODD as a Long-term Care Ombudsman in 2012, and was promoted within the first year to Ombudsman Supervisor.
Last year he took a new position with EODD as a Community and Economic Development Specialist.
Prior to coming to work at EODD, he worked 10 years in management including several years in the healthcare field. Harding earned a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Political Science from Northeastern State University.
He is married to Tawnee Harding and together they have two children. He is a long-time resident of Wagoner. Scott always has a huge garden, is a great cook and likes to travel.
Harding is pictured with Diane Kelley, EODD Executive Board and Larry Wood, EODD Board Chairman and Adair County Commissioner.
Harding’s background and experience made it a natural transition for him to move into the Executive Director position.
He will be a great asset to the Economic and Community Development in our seven-county district of Adair, Cherokee, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah and Wagoner counties.
