‘Do you have any suggestions to teach the ‘meaning of Christmas to kids?’
By Know that you are loved! Pastor J. Ingram,

Q and A with Pastor J.

One thing that our family does with every day in December up to Christmas is our Advent Calendar. Each day has a little box that holds a piece of candy or such. The kids look forward to it each day.

In the few moments we spend with it, we can talk about Jesus and his birth. Children can be amazingly insightful if you just talk to them. It has been a great tool to keep the focus on Christ. We have wonderful little discussions. We talk about what the Bible says about Christmas and why it is so important.

We have a small window of time with our children to help them understand the depth of love that God demonstrated in Christmas. The celebration of the season is the perfect time to share God’s love with others in your family and community.

Kids have lots of questions and they deserve to be shown the way to Jesus.

The celebration of Christ’ birth is a perfect time to lead your little ones to the Savior.

We would like to extend a special invitation to you to our Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service, on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. It is a wonderful service to share with you. We hope you can come!

We would love to meet you at First Baptist Church. Sunday worship is at 10 a.m. Our website is www.eufaulafbc.org.
