Game times and television designations for the first three weeks and midweek games for the 2023 college football season were announced today by the American Athletic Conference.
Tulsa opens the season on Thursday night, August 31 against Arkansas- Pine Bluff at 7 p.m. (CT). The game will be aired digitally on ESPN+.
A week later, Tulsa travels to PAC-12 opponent Washington for a 4 p.m. (CT) kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 9. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
The Golden Hurricane hosts the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 2:30 p.m. (CT). The game will be aired on either ESPN or ESPN2. Two additional Thursday night games will be played at Tulsa’s H.A. Chapman Stadium. The Hurricane hosts the Temple Owls on Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN and the Rice Owls on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m., which will be televised either on ESPN or ESPN2. The remaining start times and television designations will be made on a weekly basis through the season as part of the conference’s 12-day selection process.
