The Checotah Wildcats have hired their newest softball coach in Kory Bible. Bible come highly recommended as he has coached baseball at Warner and has been successful.
“My final season as a Warner Eagle ended in the baseball regional championship at Silo. I am incredibly proud of these young men and the success they had this season. We battled tough opponents every day of the week and we were always in close games. Their ability to work through adversity showed in the regionals. It has been a fun ride in the six years I have been at Warner. I’m thankful for everyone that has supported this program.
As one chapter ends, another one begins. I am excited for the opportunity to return to my hometown of Checotah to take over the softball program. The new softball journey is going to allow me to coach Briley year round and spend more time with my family. We are excited for the new journey together,” Bible said on social media.
Bible takes over for Erin Bridges who resigned her position this spring.
