Checotah golf programs qualify for Regional

The Checotah golf programs achieved a milestone this past week when both the girls’ and boys’ teams qualified for the regional tournament. The Wildcats boys’ team won the Stigler tournament where Checotah senior, Carter Stewart, won high individual honors. On Wednesday, the Wildcats placed fifth as a team at the Canadian Cougar Invitational tournament. Stewart placed seventh overall.
