Dr. James Hickman, left, Eufaula chiropractor, held a meet-and-greet fundraiser for State Representative Randy Randleman, right, at Hickman’s office, 201 N. Front St., on Friday. “I want people to be aware of who is representing us,” Hickman said. Randleman outlined a number of his accomplishments this year, including House Bill 3261, which would make the American Quarter Horse Oklahoma’s state horse. Also, he helped reach an agreement with electric coops to bring broadband internet to Eufaula and other rural area. “If you’re going to get business in here, you have to have some fiber optics,” he said. He also is working on a bill focusing on the issue of dyslexia, a reading disorder that affects many young students.
