Suspect arrested in theft of gun from Checotah pawn shop

Theft of a shotgun at Richy’s Gun and Pawn Shop, 1301 Old Highway 69 in Checotah, resulted in a high speed chase, a burning tire, an altercation between police and a suspect followed by an arrest on multiple charges.
