Dodd earns state runner-up in powerlifting meet

Eufaula senior Ty Dodd nearly missed winning the state powerlifting championship but earned second place as state runner-up in the heavyweight division at the OSSAA State Powerlifting Championships at El Reno, Oklahoma on Saturday. Dodd won the regional championship with an all-around 1,325 pounds and deadlift of 525 pounds.
