Ironheads’ bid for state title ends

The No. 10 ranked Eufaula Ironheads saw their dreams of winning a state title dashed away as No. 4 ranked Community Christian Royals rolled to a 53-32 quarterfinals win at Yukon on Thursday. The Ironheads (13-5) struggled offensively as they only scored four points in the first period and eight in the second period to trail 20-12 at the half.
