Imagine being with Jesus’ disciples that third day after he was crucified when all of a sudden Mary Magdalen burst into the room exclaiming, “I’ve seen the Lord! He talked to me! HE IS HERE!” (John 20:11- 18). Mary couldn’t explain how or why, but she was absolutely certain that “something” had happened – to Jesus and then to her. She experienced his presence and was sure of her story.
